SUMMARY
KT 기가지니 LTE2는 무선 환경에서의 사용 경험을 기준으로 디자인된 AI 스피커입니다. STORYFORM은 휴대성과 공간 적응성을 고려한 형태를 통해, 실내외 어디에서도 자연스럽게 놓이고 사용될 수 있는 디자인을 구현했습니다. 상단의 터치 인터페이스는 기가지니의 시각적 아이덴티티를 기반으로 재해석되어, 음성 중심 사용 경험을 보완하는 직관적인 조작 방식으로 디자인 되었습니다. KT GiGA Genie LTE2 is an AI speaker designed with a strong focus on wireless usage and spatial flexibility. STORYFORM approached the design from the perspective of mobility, creating a form that can be placed and used naturally across a wide range of environments without visual or physical burden. The touch interface on the top surface reinterprets GiGA Genie’s visual identity, complementing voice interaction with intuitive and recognizable controls.
KEY DECISIONS
1) 무선 사용 경험을 위한 폼펙터 유선과 네트워크 제약에서 벗어난 사용 시나리오를 전제로 어디에 두어도 부담 없이 놓일 수 있는 안정적인 비율과 곡면 중심의 형태를 디자인했습니다.
2) 공간에 자연스럽게 스며드는 볼륨과 실루엣 과도한 존재감을 배제하고 탁자, 선반, 바닥 등 다양한 환경에서 시각적인 안정감을 느낄 수 있게 절제된 볼륨과 단순한 실루엣을 유지했습니다.
3) 기가지니 아이덴티티를 반영한 터치 인터페이스 상단 터치 인터페이스는 기가지니 고유의 시각적 아이덴티티를 바탕으로 디자인되어, 음성 사용 경험을 보완하는 직관적인 조작 흐름을 제공합니다. 빛과 움직임을 활용한 인터랙션은 사용 상태를 명확하게 인지하도록 돕습니다.
4) 후속 제품 디자인의 기준이 되는 디자인 아이덴티티 기가지니 LTE2에서 정립된 형태, 인터페이스 구성, 사용성은 이후 KT의 무선 AI 스피커 제품군 디자인에 기준점으로 작용하며 일관된 제품 경험을 구축하는 기반이 되었습니다.
1) Form factor designed for wireless use Based on usage scenarios free from wired power and network constraints, the form was designed with stable proportions and soft, curved surfaces that allow it to be placed comfortably in any environment without visual burden. 2) Volume and silhouette that blend naturally into space Excessive visual presence was intentionally avoided. A restrained volume and simple silhouette were maintained to create a sense of visual stability across various settings, including tables, shelves, and floors. 3) Touch interface reflecting the GiGA Genie identity The top touch interface was designed based on GiGA Genie’s distinctive visual identity, providing an intuitive interaction flow that complements voice-based use. Light and motion are used to clearly communicate system states and user interactions.
4) A design identity serving as a reference for future products The form, interface structure, and usability principles established in GiGA Genie LTE2 served as a reference point for subsequent KT wireless AI speaker products, forming the foundation for a consistent and unified product experience.
