SUMMARY
KT 기가지니 호텔은 호텔 객실 환경에 최적화된 디스플레이 기반 AI 스피커입니다. 투숙객이 음성 명령뿐 아니라 시각적인 정보를 함께 활용할 수 있도록 설계하여, 호텔 내 정보 확인과 콘텐츠 이용을 보다 직관적으로 경험할 수 있도록 돕습니다.
KT GIGA Genie HOTEL is a display-integrated AI device designed specifically for hotel guest rooms. By combining voice interaction with visual information, it enables guests to access services and content more intuitively within the hotel environment.
KEY DECISIONS
1) 호텔 환경에 최적화된 사용자 경험
객실이라는 제한된 공간과 사용 상황을 고려하여, 멀리서도 정보를 쉽게 인지할 수 있는 디스플레이 중심의 인터페이스를 적용했습니다.
2) 공간에 자연스럽게 어우러지는 형태
과도한 존재감을 줄이고 객실 인테리어와 조화를 이루도록 부드러운 곡선과 안정적인 비율의 컴팩트한 형태로 디자인했습니다.
3) 프리미엄 오디오와 디자인의 균형
Harman-Kardon 스피커 성능을 충분히 확보하면서도 시각적으로 부담되지 않는 균형 잡힌 볼륨과 형태를 유지했습니다.
1) User experience tailored to hotel rooms
The interface is centered around a display that allows guests to easily recognize information even from a distance, considering the typical usage context of hotel rooms.
2) Form designed to blend into interior spaces
Soft curves and balanced proportions were applied to reduce visual dominance and integrate naturally with hotel interiors.
3) Balance between premium audio and form
The design accommodates high-quality Harman-Kardon sound while maintaining a compact and visually restrained form.
OUTCOME & IMPACT
KT 기가지니 호텔은 양산 및 정식 출시를 통해 호텔 전용 AI 디바이스로 실제 시장에 적용되었습니다.
본 프로젝트는 STORYFORM의 디자인이 개념 제안에 그치지 않고, 양산과 출시까지 이어지는 디자인 역량을 보여주는 사례입니다.
GIGA Genie HOTEL was mass-produced and officially launched by KT as an AI device for hotel use.
This project demonstrates STORYFORM’s capability to deliver designs that move beyond concepts and into real, market-ready products.
