SUMMARY
BOHO ROBOT은 격리 시설에서 의료진의 과중한 업무를 분산시키기 위한 자율 로봇 시스템입니다.
이 시스템은 돌봄 로봇을 통해 의사와 환자 간의 진료가 이루어지며, 운송 로봇과 무선 통신으로 연동되어 식사·처방약·용품 전달은 물론 환자의 쓰레기 수거까지 자동으로 수행합니다.
스토리폼은 환자와 의료진을 고려한 구조적 안정성, 시각적 의사소통, 모듈형 기능 구성을 바탕으로 BOHO ROBOT 제품군의 형태와 사용성을 디자인했습니다.
이를 통해 돌봄과 운송 업무를 효율화하고, 현장의 부담을 줄이며 환자와 의료진 모두의 안전을 강화하는 로봇 경험을 구현했습니다.
The BOHO ROBOT is an autonomous robotic system designed to distribute the heavy workload of medical staff in quarantine facilities.
Through the care robot, consultations between doctors and patients are conducted, while the transport robot operates in wireless coordination to automatically handle meal delivery, prescribed medication and supply transport, as well as patient waste collection.
Based on structural stability, visual communication, and modular functional configuration tailored to both patients and medical staff, STORYFORM designed the form and usability of the BOHO ROBOT product lineup.
This approach streamlines care and transport tasks, reduces on-site workload, and delivers a robotic experience that enhances safety for both patients and healthcare professionals.
KEY DECISIONS
1) 통합 디자인 아이덴티티
BOHO ROBOT 전 제품군은 차분한 투톤 컬러로 로봇의 큰 덩어리의 볼륨을 시각적으로 분할함과 동시에, 연결된 조형 언어로 일관된 시스템 정체성을 유지합니다.
1) Unified design identity with visual strategy
A muted two-tone color scheme divides the mass visually while maintaining a cohesive system identity across all robot types.
2) 격리병실 환경을 고려한 케어 로봇 디자인
케어 로봇은 머리와 본체를 원형 파이프 구조로 연결해 개방감을 주고, 디스플레이 높낮이와 회전이 자유로워 환자와 의료진 간의 시각적 소통이 자연스럽도록 구성했습니다.
2) Care robot design tailored for quarantine room environments
The circular pipe structure creates openness and allows the display to adjust height and rotation for comfortable interaction.
3) 운송 로봇의 자율 운반 구조
운송 로봇은 이동용 컨테이너를 자동으로 인식하고 집어 들어 운반하며, 식사·의약품·용품을 지정된 장소로 자율적으로 전달합니다.
이동용 컨테이너는 용품용과 폐기물용으로 분리되어 감염 확산을 방지하도록 구성되었습니다.
3) Autonomous transport structure of the transport robot
The transport robot automatically recognizes and lifts mobile containers to carry them, autonomously delivering meals, medications, and supplies to designated locations.
The containers are separated for supplies and waste to help prevent the spread of infection.
4) 격리 시설 내 안전성을 중심으로 한 외형 디자인
BOHO ROBOT 전 제품군은 격리 시설 환경에서도 안정적으로 작동할 수 있도록 설계되었습니다.
외형 디자인은 단순한 보호를 넘어, 안전한 이동과 충돌 상황을 고려한 구조적 안정성을 확보하는 데 초점을 맞췄습니다.
4) Exterior design centered on safety in quarantine facilities
The entire BOHO ROBOT lineup was designed to operate reliably within quarantine environments.
The exterior design goes beyond basic protection, focusing on structural stability that supports safe movement and mitigates collision scenarios.
